Punishment is assigned by the Guard; disputed cases are handled by the Court. The table is the Guard's default guideline; it does not bind the Judge.
Everything except a verbal warning goes into the violation history and is visible on the profile.
Types of punishment
• Verbal warning — not logged in the history.
• Muting (mute) — a ban on writing in general chat and private messages; the offender's messages from the last hour are deleted.
• Imprisonment — a ban on moving around and communicating in public places.
• Burial in the Garden of Memory — only by a Judge's decision, lifted by their pardon.
• Account ban — Keepers only.
Muting and imprisonment last no more than 30 days. A reason is always given.

Guild members are held to a stricter standard: the first chat violation is a 60-minute mute, after that it's up to the guild leader's decision.

Guild members are held to a stricter standard: the first chat violation is a 60-minute mute, after that it's up to the guild leader's decision.
Arguing with a guard in general chat is a separate violation (item 6.1.5). If you think a punishment is unfair, file an appeal — see the “Courtroom” section.
